1. About these terms

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BeDiscovered GEO website at bediscoveredgeo.co.uk and the services we provide. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

BeDiscovered GEO (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI visibility agency based in Aberdeen, United Kingdom, in the process of registering as a limited company.

2. Our services

We provide:

• Free AI Visibility Score (AiVS): An automated tool that checks how visible your business is to AI search platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude. Results are delivered via our website and email.
• Paid optimisation services: Hands-on AI visibility optimisation engagements where we audit and improve your digital infrastructure so AI platforms can find and recommend your business.

3. No guarantee of AI recommendations

This is critically important: We do not and cannot guarantee that any AI platform will recommend your business. AI recommendations are produced by third-party platforms — including but not limited to ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude (Anthropic) — that we do not own, operate, or control.

These platforms update their models, data sources, and recommendation logic frequently and without notice. A recommendation today does not guarantee a recommendation tomorrow.

What we commit to is optimising the digital infrastructure that AI platforms read when making recommendations. We improve your chances — we do not control the outcome.

4. Score accuracy

The AI Visibility Score (AiVS) provided by our tool is indicative and not guaranteed to be accurate. Scores are based on automated analysis at a point in time and are subject to the following limitations:

• AI platform outputs vary between sessions, users, and regions
• Third-party data sources (Google, Brave) may return incomplete or outdated information
• Scores reflect a snapshot and may change as AI models are updated
• Different AI platforms may produce different results for the same query

You should not make significant business decisions based solely on your AiVS score.

5. Acceptable use

When using our website and tools, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to access our services at scale without permission
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse our free score checker
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our scoring algorithms
• Interfere with the operation of our website or servers

We apply rate limits to our free tools. Excessive use may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, design, graphics, the AiVS scoring methodology, scoring algorithms, reports, and branding — is the intellectual property of BeDiscovered GEO and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission. Score reports generated for you are provided for your personal or internal business use only.

7. Payment terms for paid services

For our paid optimisation engagements:

• Payment is due on invoice as specified in your engagement agreement
• Fees are non-refundable once work has commenced
• Specific payment terms, scope, and deliverables will be set out in a separate written engagement agreement before work begins
• If there is any conflict between these Terms and your engagement agreement, the engagement agreement takes priority

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any business outcomes, revenue changes, or commercial decisions made based on AI visibility scores or our recommendations
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services
• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for those services (or £0 for free services)
• We are not responsible for the actions, outputs, or availability of third-party AI platforms

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Termination and suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are abusing our tools. This includes but is not limited to excessive automated requests, submission of false data, or any activity that disrupts our service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
